S.Petersburg

You thought we were going to Russia? So did we, but look what we saw on our first morning walk in S.Pete...


Saint Petersburg is a beautiful place, enjoyable on foot, quite relaxing. Fishing adds maybe too much to the overall relaxation though.



We stayed with Elena, her daughter Marina, their cat Frusia (hooliganka), and their guest Kaitlin. Wonderful host, Elena fed us traditional Russian dishes and tought Anna how to make borsch. When not busy playing with Frusia, we enjoyed Elena's paintings decorating the walls.

4 days to go

It still feels a bit surreal thinking that we are actually going in a few days. A lot of organization is still left to do, but at least now we have a blog! :)

We hope that you will enjoy following us here for the next months. The route is not fully fixed yet, what we know is the starting point: S. Petersburg, Russia, and the direction: East.
